Baby York's Gender Revealing Party!!!

What a fun evening we had at the Gender Revealing Party for Baby York!

Marci is 21 weeks and had her ultrasound done today, this special day they get to find out who is in there!  Aaron promised he would take pictures of the u/s tech giving the sealed envelope to them, but bless his heart - he called and apoligized - said "mom, soon as I saw the baby I couldn't stop watching to take pictures!"  I loved that he was so excited!!! 

Then the wait began til 6:30 pm that night to reveal the sex!  I'm so proud they never even tried to peek, I don't know if I could have been that good! 

All of these pictures of the evening tells it all, with so many family and great friends  were there to hear the great news!!!

18 weeks and 6 days only 148 more days!

This is Marci at 18 weeks, she is too cute!

 Of course I'm set up with all the latest apps!

(Thanks to Marci) and it shows little Baby York is 5.6 inches and the size of a sweet potato!  Weight around 6.7 oz.  How much fun is that, when I was pregnant (now I sound really old)  we didn't have all of the high tech things of today.  But I must say I love checking on everything and getting the information...plus they help you picture in your head the size. 

We have gone from peapods to a sweet potato! 

Aaron and Marci hopefully will know soon and share with us the exciting news of  "who's in there"  so they can start planning on the nursery, and Names!

Of course I can hardly wait...we are all so excited!

Marci is now 8 weeks and 5 days only 219 more days!

Can't believe Marci is already almost 9 weeks, some think that isn't very far along.  But we found out at 6 weeks, so almost 3 weeks since then!  That little York is getting bigger every day!
We are all so excited and can hardly wait to find out who it will be, baby girl or baby boy.  We will welcome either one of course, but then I wonder what names Marci and Aaron are thinking about.  It's hard waiting for all of this information, but I guess that is what we will have to do.  Until then...

We are sooooo excited! Finally I ( and Steve too!) get to be Grandparents!

 We are excited to be able to share information about our great news of Aaron and Marci having a baby....due in November! Pictures are coming soon, had the first ultra sound yesterday, just a tiny little pea pod, but it's ours! 
Sometimes I feel like I have waited all my life just to be a Grandma!!!
